Death penalty headlines to start the day
As explained here, something significant could happen with Ohio's death penalty later today. In the meantime, here are some notable capital headlines from around the country this morning:
- From Florida here, "Nearly a lethal blow "
- From Maryland here, "Law enforcers oppose death penalty"
- From Montana here, "Death penalty bill perishes in committee"
- From Ohio here, "Death row inmate awaits court ruling"
I have a very busy day mostly away from the computer, and so be sure to check in with ODPI for any major Ohio capital news from the capitol.
