A late-summer review of some marijuana reform news and notes
In this post about a month ago, I set out a midsummer review of posts from Marijuana Law, Policy & Reform. A month later, I figure it is a good time to provide a late-summer review via this abridged set of links to some MLP&R postings:
-
AG Sessions Task Force reportedly not pushing for a crack-down on marijuana reform states
-
Silly(?!?) talk of marijuana reform as a "flash point" in the far-off 2020 Prez campaign
-
NHTSA releases "Marijuana-Impaired Driving A Report to Congress"
-
"Why a Drug Policy Organization Needs to Speak Out Against White Supremacy"
-
US Justice Department reportedly blocking marijuana research requests supported by DEA
-
Making the case for stigmatizing heavy use as marijuana reform continues apace
-
Congratulations to the first director of the new Los Angeles Department of Cannabis Regulation

I thought the question of legalization was settled 30 years ago, at least in my mind. I consider myself to be an average person. I can represent the views of mainstream people with ordinary common sense.
However, this blog remains thought provoking, with challenging stupid statements not just from lawyers, but also from doctors.

This review works a charm for my router and I've even been able to control a brushless, split-capacitor fan motor successfully (without overheating) by keeping the dial set in its upper half. It seems very good value.
