Massachusetts DP Commission Report

The latest entry in growing number of reports making suggestions for improving the administration of the death penalty comes from Massachusetts, where Governor Mitt Romney created by an 11-member death penalty commission to attempt to establish a nearly "foolproof" death penalty system in the state. Here is the Massachusetts DP Commission report.

Earlier major efforts in a similar vein include The Constitution Project's Mandatory Justice: Eighteen Reforms to the Death Penalty and, of course, the report of Former Illinois Governor Ryan's Commission on Capital Punishment (which called for 85 distinct reforms).
