Execution method stories
To cap a relatively quiet long weekend, today's newspapers have a few interesting stories about execution methods:
- From Florida, this article discusses the state's struggles with lethal injection litigation while asking "Will execution Bush wants take place?"
- From Tennessee, this article notes that a death row defendant scheduled to be executed later this month has asked to die by electric chair rather than by lethal injection.
- From the AP, this article discusses which states have laws and protocols involving two drugs or three drugs in the lethal injection process.
