Gearing up for two big-time white-collar sentencings
The papers today have reports on notable developments in two high-profile white-collar sentencings in the works:
- In the sentencing of Qwest CEO Joe Nacchio, this article discusses the plans for victims to testify at the sentencing hearing and this article also discusses Nacchio's "59-page request for bail pending appeal."
- In the sentencing of Conrad Black, this article details that his "legal team has just added a big gun as the battle over his punishment looms."
