To the Honorable Richard Kopf:

The American Public has reviewed your request for restoration of funding which has been removed due to "sequestration".

We regret to inform you that your request has been denied based on your abuse of funding in previous years where this funding was extremely generous. This generous funding not only led to excessive salaries and retirement benefits for an ever increasing number of federal employees, but also to increases in sentencing for small level crimes based solely on "political" pandering and disingenuous Sentencing Guidelines. This abuse cannot be allowed to continue unabated.

We agree that the decline in funding for the Public Defender's Office and the current increase in funding for the DOJ is criminal and history will demonstrate this to be the Prime Exmple of our current national schizophrenia and the abuse of federal power.

Sincerely,

John Q. Public
