Pope Francis' comments to Congress about his support for the abolition of the death penalty (basics here) has, unsurprisingly, generated lots of buzz from various quarters. Here are some headlines and links to some notable press pieces:

The “Kill everyone and let God/G*d (or your preferred Deity) sort out the innocent ‼” idea seem doable ; albeit if there WERE no God/G*d , then we are faced with a sorting issue •
Presently „ IMLO←with which many agree „ the death penalty system is not working :(

Did this Argentinian left wing ideologue advocate the end of the death penalty in Cuba? There they shoot you for bad thoughts. Or they shoot you, if one of Castro's boys doesn't like you. Ironic from the head of a church that killed a million people to impose its orthodoxy. The Church began opposing the death penalty when French patriots beheaded a bunch of their high officials. They ended their Inquisition.
Naturally, the American lawyer picked up where the church Inquisition left off, and is far more effective at enforcing its criminal cult enterprise, sicko, supernatural doctrines, all plagiarized from the Catechism of the Church of this Pope. How Jewish and Protestant lawyers take that stuff is incomprehensible to me. My remaining hope is that Muslim lawyers will get fatwas issued against the asses of these cult criminals.
